I have now owned the Fiat Linea Diesel Emotion Package for an entire month.

In this period, I have visited the Fiat service station four times.

And none of these visits were scheduled.

The quality of the car is such that you can find defects on a brand new unit that is delivered to you.

And as you drive it around, things practically start to fall apart.

The funny thing is that you get nothing exclusive in Fiat anymore. The same engines power both Tata and Fiat cars.

And I just heard that Tata cars are all set to get the Blue&Me system that was specifically designed by Fiat and Microsoft for Fiat branded cars.

I just fail to see the benefits of buying a Fiat car which cost me a fortune when compared to a Tata branded one.

My car has seen an engine failure message (thankfully a false alarm), malfunctioning door knobs and I have already started seeing rusting in some parts of the car.

Getting it fixed is a painful experience. The guy who fixes the Tata Indica is the one who would try to fix your car. Because the workers trained with Fiat cars are few.

I saw two dudes trying to take apart the door covering for fixing the faulty door knobs. They spent 15 minutes playing around with screwdrivers and raw force.

Thankfully, a Fiat guy arrived just in time and helped me out.

The rusting problem is becoming a major hassle for me now. One month old car should not show signs of rusting. Especially when you are not really living in Mumbai city.

I would now have to go back to the service station once again and get a patch work done. Which I am sure would make the situation worse.
